Crystal L. Zhang, MD

Crystal L. Zhang, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract, refractive surgery, and anterior segment diseases. She was born in China and grew up in Belgium and Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from Northwestern University with full academic scholarship, where she majored in Art Theory & Practice. She attended Medical University of South Carolina, where she received Roper St. Francis Scholarship.

 

Dr. Zhang completed her internship at Grand Strand Medical Center and her ophthalmology residency at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She graduated from a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She is a member of America Medical Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology.

 

Dr. Zhang currently lives in Attleboro, Massachusetts with her husband, John and her cat, Miso. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. In her free time, Dr. Zhang is a foodie who loves to try new cuisine. She also loves to travel, especially visiting National Parks.
